The Grey Company in Bayswater and the College of Dragon's Bay, part of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), are fantastic places to discover ideas, costumes, demonstrations and historical activities.
If you really want to immerse yourselves before the big day, why not spend a weekend visiting one of WA's medieval festivals? The Balingup Medieval Carnivale in August and the Boddington Medieval Fayre & Feast are packed with costumes, music, markets, demonstrations and enough inspiration to fill an entire wedding planner.
At the end of the day, a medieval wedding is about gathering your favourite people around one enormous table, sharing good food, telling stories, laughing until your cheeks hurt and celebrating the beginning of your own epic tale.
